To know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.
Ephesians 3:19-21

Mentoring is biblical. Through an in-depth study of Titus 2 using Adorned: Living Out the Beauty of the Gospel Together by Nancy DeMoss Wolgemuth, we see God's beautiful design for His Church: passing the baton of faith by encouraging, strengthening, and praying for one another. Our ultimate goal is to become more like Jesus through authentic Christ-centered relationships flowing from one generation to the next. As mentors and mentees meet regularly to share life, reflect, and pray together, God brings growth & victories through Spirit-led relationships.
At Peace Tower Church, we desire to cultivate intentional intergenerational mentoring relationships that foster meaningful connection and spiritual growth. Mentoring provides a safe, encouraging, and non-judgmental environment where people can receive support, wisdom, and encouragement for their faith journey. In a busy world where genuine connection can be difficult to find, mentoring creates space for authentic one-on-one relationships that strengthen community and help people grow as disciples of Jesus.
As a mentor, you have the opportunity to invest in and impact a life. As a mentee, you can learn, grow, and be encouraged by someone intentionally walking alongside you. These relationships bring blessing and growth to both mentor and mentee.
MORE Mentoring exists to equip the church with tools and training to create a mentoring culture within churches to bridge socioeconomic, cultural and generational differences. This mentoring approach is relationship-driven, Spirit-led, Jesus-centered, scripture-based, and prayer-focused.
PTC is excited to be partnering with MORE Mentoring to help our mentoring community grow & flourish. We now have a special PTC Mentoring Hub to make mentoring super easy and effective for our church community or even for those exploring faith. Everything you need to learn more about mentoring, set up your profile, get the training and join the community is all available through the Hub.
Men, women and married couples, you are invited to join the mentoring community by setting up your profile using the PTC Mentoring Hub! This is for Jesus-centered spiritual growth through prayer-focused mentoring.
Come experience MORE of Jesus, MORE fullness of life and MORE freedom & joy!

Mentoring in the context of discipleship is when one person with a bit more experience on the journey of faith with Jesus commits to consistently coming alongside another to love, listen, encourage and pray to foster spiritual growth. Mentoring relationships have a start and end date. Some relationships will develop a deeper connection where the mentor becomes a spiritual mother or father but this is not the expectation nor should this ever be imposed. It is recommended to start a new mentoring relationship with another mentor/mentee after your term has ended.
These relationships are not meant to provide advice or counsel for people dealing with more complex issues such as depression, suicide, or other mental health concerns or circumstances of abuse or victimization. If you are affected by any of these issues, we recommend you reach out to a professional Christian counselor or to speak to a Pastor to find the best path forward.
Men, women and married couples are welcome to join the Mentoring Hub. Youth ages 15 and up are welcome to join with parental consent. The more people join, the more will be matched! When you fill in your profile and submit your application, indicate which type of mentoring relationship is the right fit for you. Your application will be verified and approved before you are matched.
Simply follow the steps from the “Start Here!” section once you join the PTC Mentoring Hub and complete your profile to get started! The instructions and training are all found within the Hub. PTC is currently covering the costs associated for the mentor and mentee trainings and access to other tools and workshops. If you have any questions, reach out to anyone of the members of the Mobilizer Team at PTC.
An hour and a half to two hours every two to three weeks for a period of six to nine months is recommended. Time commitments shorter than six months doesn’t give adequate time for the relationship to establish and to bear fruit. The word “together” can be broken down to mean “to – get – her” and we need to be patient as we take time to get to know each other (see Mentoring Made Real by Nancy Lindgren, founder of MORE Mentoring).
PTC is currently covering the cost of the PTC Mentoring Hub so there is no cost to you except your investment into the ministry through participation! Of course, if you are blessed through it, you are welcome to pay it forward to bless the church through giving specifically to the intergenerational mentoring ministry (IGM). This will help us keep the Hub going and active for years to come! The more it’s utilized, the better so get involved and invite your friends to join to keep the momentum going!
You are also welcome to buy from a wide array mentoring guide e-books available to download from MORE Mentoring via the Hub but keep in mind the pricing is in US dollars. You may choose to purchase them or other Christian mentoring guides available on Amazon or wherever you prefer to buy books.
