Since the early 1900s, our historic downtown Ottawa church has been a foundation for the city, and we are committed to expanding our influence in the urban community and beyond. Our mission is to build God’s kingdom for generations to come by restoring this landmark, planting churches, training leaders, and reaching as many lives as possible.

We are called by God to be salt and light, bringing good news to the poor, healing the brokenhearted, and proclaiming freedom to captives (Matthew 5:13-16, Isaiah 61:1).
This building is God’s house—a place of prayer for all nations—where we foster belonging, honour, and sacrificial love for our community (Mark 11:17).
With hope and purpose, we commit to building God’s kingdom for generations by restoring our church and continuing to disciple and train leaders for the future (Jeremiah 29:11).
Through intentional renovations and community support, we aim to expand our mission of building God’s kingdom by reaching lives, planting churches, and training leaders in a welcoming, accessible space.

The time to build more room for the work God has called us as a church to do is now. Let’s be generous in advancing His Kingdom purposes in and through Peace Tower Church. We are calling on our congregation to:
1. Pray - Prayerfully consider how God may be calling you to be generous.
Pray this prayer, "Lord, what are you asking me/us to give, above and beyond my our tithes and/or offerings, in financial support of the vision over the next 6 months?"
2. Reflect
God calls us to equal sacrifice, not equal gifts. Each of us should prayerfully consider giving in proportion. What does a sacrifice look like for you? Is there anything God is asking you to give during this season to support this vision?
3. Give
You can give a one-time donation or you can commit to a six-month commitment, which would be over and above your regular giving.
How did the building together start?
The campaign began when the church’s ceiling started to crumble in our main sanctuary. As we opened up its structure, we experienced problem after problem. At that moment, we realized it needed much more repair than we originally expected.
In order to continue facilitating the work God has called Peace Tower to do in City-Centre Ottawa, we needed to begin renovations. Our goal is to become a community and outreach center for Ottawa and beyond for many years to come.
Are their other ways to give besides cash gifts?
Donations of stocks, bonds, securities, real estate, or other assets can be an effective way to give. You can also donate a gift in kind or give income from savings, tax refunds, bonuses, or dividends.
Will tax receipts be given for donations to this campaign?
Yes, donations of cash, securities or other assets to PTC are eligible for a charitable tax receipt for the calendar year in which it was received; this may significantly reduce your federal and provincial income tax each year.
What changes will be made to make the church building more accessible?
We realize that our building is not up to code when it comes to accessibility. Our desire is for everyone to be able to come, that’s why we will be installing more wheelchair ramps, and an elevator in our building.
